We are delighted to announce that Arts Impact Fund has recently become an Access Point for the Reach Fund, an investment readiness grant programme funded by Access – the Foundation for social investment.
The £4m programme, managed by Social Investment Business, enables social investors (such as the Arts Impact Fund) to create bespoke investment readiness plans with organisations looking for investment, and then help them apply for a grant to put those plans into practice.
We already work with organisations to identify and address specific barriers or challenges they face before we can invest with them. Through the Reach Fund, we can do this at various stages of the investment process, and help organisations receive targeted support where our capacity or resource limitations might otherwise prevent us from doing so.
What is an Access Point?
Access Points are social investors approved by the Reach Fund to refer charities and social enterprises to the programme. If approved, these charities and social enterprises can apply for grants to help them secure investment.
What is the Reach Fund?
The Reach Fund is a two year £4m investment readiness grant programme, funded by Access – The Foundation for Social Investment and managed by Social Investment Business. It will test a new model of investment readiness support to help charities and social enterprises raise investment.
What does The Reach Fund offer?
The Reach Fund will offer small grants to charities and social enterprises that are looking to raise investment with one of the approved social investors – Access Points, of which Arts Impact Fund is now one. The grant will be used to help organisations close a deal or secure an investment.
How do you apply?
You should still apply for investment from Arts Impact Fund as usual. You can submit an enquiry through our apply page or contact our team directly. If we think you need a little bit of extra support before you are ready for investment then we will refer you to the Reach Fund. Our team will work with you to identify your needs, develop an investment readiness plan, and apply for a grant.
